Nature Connections Rotorua NZ now offers enthusiastic birdwatchers the opportunity to spot some of New Zealand’s unique endemic and native birds.
In response to growing demand for specific tours from passionate birdwatchers, Nature Connections has developed ‘bird watching made easy’ packages that include accommodation transfers, spotting scopes, binoculars, lunch, refresh- ments and expert guides with plenty of local knowledge.
Suitable for individuals or small organised groups, tours can be individually tailor – made to offer access to both common and rare native birds found throughout the Rotorua and Bay of Plenty regions rainforest, lake, wetland and coastal habitats.
Nature Connections recom- mends that those who wish to see a broad range of birdlife rather than a few specific species spend at least two days in the region; typically one day would be a combi- nation rainforest and lake birding, with day two visiting wetland and coastal locations.
